Serbia, is a country situated at the crossroads between Central and Southeast Europe, covering the southern part of the Pannonian Plain and the central Balkans. Relative to its small territory, it is a diverse country distinguished by a transitional character, situated along cultural, geographic, climatic and other boundaries. Serbia is landlocked and borders Hungary to the north; Romania and Bulgaria to the east; Macedonia to the south; and Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro to the west. Serbia numbers around 7 million residents, and its capital, Belgrade, ranks among the largest cities in Southeast Europe.
La Starna is the first private agency of its kind in Serbia run by a group of young people who want to make a new era of hunting tourism in Serbia and Vojvodina.

All of our guides are excellent hunters.. The lodge is on the main road Kruševac - Prokuplje. It is 4km away from the city center and 25km from the center of Blace Prokuplje. The motorway is 49km away, and the Niš airport at a distance of 56km.
The famous ski center Kopaonik is situated 55km from the House of hunters.
Hunters who hunt in Vojvodina are placed on seals similar, with a perfect kitchen, friendly staff and with our organization.
At Witkop and Balkan Venture Safaris, we maintain a network of experienced Professional hunters & Guides which gives us the depth to provide you with the service expected of a large outfitter, while still providing the personal service and attention to detail that we have come to be known for. All our Professional Hunters have at least 15 years’ experience, well versed in hunting Plains Game. We use well equipped and maintained vehicles and Lodges provides first class accommodation.

Hunting in Serbia is done on a daily rate basis and the animals hunted will be charged additional as per the pricelist according to specie and size. The total duration of the safari will depend on the different species that the hunter would like to hunt. Just be aware that hunting seasons apply and most animals hunted are free range. Together with our clients we plan their hunting safaris to the last detail. Your Serbian hunt will be structured according to your needs. The location of the hunt will depend on the species that the hunter would like to take.
